Our conveyancing team will progress your purchase transaction swiftly and our whole aim is to get you into your new home as early as possible on the big day. While purchase/sale contracts do not provide a specific time for handover of keys (as this depends on third party input/banking services etc), we will do our utmost to get you your keys as early as possible on the date of entry.

Most types of Legal Aid in Scotland are means-tested and based on the merits of your case.  Information and Guidance on applying for legal aid can be found at https://www.slab.org.uk/new-to-legal-aid/leaflets/. Following an initial consultation with our team, they will be able to assess your case and, if appropriate, submit an application to the Scottish Legal Aid Board on your behalf.  The application process for civil cases usually takes around 6 weeks.  Criminal applications are usually determined within a shorter period of time than civil applications .  However, the length of time for any legal aid application can be affected by requests from the Scottish Legal Aid Board for further information about you, your financial position or your case.
